Love this place!  R. Vasquez

Awesome menu & food!  Excellent Cashier Service.  Thanks.  S. Hernandez

I would just like to say that I am amazed. I ordered out, got my lunch in less time than expected, was kindly greeted by the man at the counter, delighted at the presentation, and very very pleased with the food(really, it was fabulous, and for the price, wow). The bread was like it was just out of the oven, and the carrot ginger soup has a wonderful flavor, and all of it was just so fresh. I am a new regular as of today. (And I'll tip better next time, promise)

Thanks for being the only fresh, healthy, and fast lunch option for the med center. I've been waiting for you all my life.

I just wanted to let you know how much our staff enjoyed the roast beef dinner you delivered last night. They all raved about how good everything tasted. It was perfect, exactly what we hoped for when we ordered it. And you were right, there was enough for seconds and they took advantage! It was such a welcome change from the pizza and other chain restaurant food they have been eating during tax season.

Thanks for always doing such a good job for us.

I just had to write and say thanks for making our wedding shower such a success last weekend.  It's always tough to plan a party from out of state, but you made it easy on me.  Everyone loved the food and the cake and cookies were beautiful.  I'll do my best to come by the cafe whenever I visit San Antonio in the future.

Thanks again for making this special day such a hit.

Sincerely,
Ronda Foreman

Thank you so much for putting together my 40th birthday
cookie. I am not really one for b-day cakes but I love chocolate
chip cookies. I loved how you designed the "40" out of the chocolate
chip dough and it was delicious!!! Everyone at the party could not
believe how big it was. All I could say was: WOW just WOW,
it was super !!! I will never forget my 40th.

Thank You,

At Nicavids we can always count on the high quality of the food, the generous portions of the ingredients stacked high on the homemade bread for the sandwiches. The innovative and mouth watering soups that chefs Amy and Josh create daily are are so warm and comforting. The upscale pastries that always tempt us because they look and taste so devine make one think of a French patisserie. Lastly, the genuine warmth, superior service and ready smiles that greet us when we walk through the doors at Nicavids keeps us returning two and three times a week.

Dear Nicavid's:
I just spent the last year in Los Angeles, Ca. I returned to S.A. in December. Now, Los Angeles is a major city and has a lot to offer when it comes to dining out. When I found myself venturing out to try all the famous and not so famous restaurants in and around town. I was surprised that I kept thinking about that little cafe on Fred Rd. with that incredible carrot ginger soup. No matter where I went , I never found anything either similar in taste or equal in quality to the house soup at Nicavid's . As my year in La La Land came to a close and I was driving east on I-10 back to Texas, not only was I craving my daily dose of Bill Miller Tea and some authentic Tex-Mex , but I couldn't wait to be greeted by the nice folks behind the counter at Nicavid's and say " I'd like a big bowl of the soup, please " There's no place like home.
